Ecological Descriptors

Marine.

 

Diagnosis

Cylindrical column, to 50 mm, pale yellowish red or pale pink, with violet spots on upper part, margin greyish. Indistinct verrucae in upper portion of column. Oral disc, to 130 mm, greyish blue or olive, much wider than column. Central fifth of oral disc bare from tentacles. Tentacles short, most branched with dozen or so filaments, some with 6-10 nematospheres. Tentacles in rows on oral disc, denser near margin.
