Introduction
Allenella palmorum is distinguished from A. formalis by the combination of smaller size, angular whorls and flatter spire.

Diagnosis
Shell very small, light bronze colour depressed turbinate/trochoidal with bluntly angular whorls, last whorl large and flared; protoconch with strong spiral lirae, teleoconch sculpture of crowded radial ribs or growth lines and fairly prominent raised spiral lines; umbilicus very narrow; diameter 2.8mm.
