Holotype BMNH ♂, Parramatta, NSW (in the original description Meyrick recorded Sydney as the type locality but his diary gave Parramatta, NSW).

Ecological Descriptors
Adult recorded from Melaleuca sp. (Myrtaceae) Meyrick in the description of the species stated that the holotype was beaten from Eucalyptus sp. (Myrtaceae) but this does not accord with Meyrick's own diary where he recorded it from Melaleuca sp. (Myrtaceae).
