Adult: mellivore, volant.

Larva: sedentary.

Extra Ecological Information

Nest in dead, dry wood (Capparis L. [Capparaceae], Eucalyptus L'Hérit. [Myrtaceae]), each larva in individual, mass-provisioned cell, flower visiting record: wisteria, Acacia Miller [Mimosaceae], Crotalaria L. [Fabaceae], Eucalyptus L'Hérit. [Myrtaceae], Passiflora L. [Passifloraceae], Solanum L. [Solanaceae].
