Family XESTOLEBERIDIDAE Sars, 1928

Diagnosis

Shell tumid, narrow in front. Valves slightly unequal, surface smooth. Eyes well developed. Terminal segment of the antenna with two claws. Vibratory plate of the mandibula small, bearing only two setae. Vibratory plate of the maxillula without any deflexed setae at the basis. Legs short and stout. Caudal ramus with two short bristles. Hemipenis well developed with the terminal part rather narrow, deflexed.
