Holotype SAMA C8291 ♂ 2.83 mm (Coll. W. Zeidler, 9.vi.1983), west Finniss Springs, Hermit Hills spring complex, South Australia [29° 35.68' S 137° 24.66' E].
Paratype(s) SAMA C8292 ♀ 1.98 mm (as allotype), collected with holotype; SAMA C6834, C6835, C6836, C8293, C8294, various localities in Hermit Hills spring complex, South Australia.
Introduction
This taxon is one of five cryptic amphipod species previously included in Wangiannachiltonia guzikae King, 2009, from which they are genetically distinct but not diagnosable on morphological grounds.
