Holotype SAMA C8303 ♂ 2.39 mm (Coll. W. Zeidler, 10.ix.1981), Beresford Spring group, South Australia [29° 16.0' S 136° 39.7' E].
Paratype(s) SAMA C8304 ♀ 1.73 mm (as allotype), collected with holotype; SAMA C6838, C8305, C8306, various localities in Warburton Spring, South Australia.
Introduction
This taxon is one of five cryptic amphipod species previously included in Wangiannachiltonia guzikae King, 2009, from which they are genetically distinct but not diagnosable on morphological grounds.
