Genus Antennoseius Berlese, 1916

Introduction

Lindquist & Moraza (2009) provided a detailed analysis and diagnosis of the genus Antennoseius. They explained the reasons for its placement in the Family Ascidae, but foreshadowed that further research could result in its transfer to a separate family Antennoseiidae. They also described the existence of female dimorphism in this genus, which complicates the question of species recognition. Colloff et al. (2013), Manwaring et al. (2018) and Walter & Stirling (2018).recorded unidentified species from Australia.
