Introduction

Vitellidelos dorrigoensis can be distinguished from V. costata by the larger size, weaker radial ribbing and the presence of stronger spiral sculpture.

Ecological Descriptors

Litter-dwelling, rainforest, under logs.

 

Diagnosis

Shell small, glossy dark yellow with darker radial streaks in some individuals, subdiscoidal, spire flat; protoconch shiny, with weak radial growth ridges, teleoconch sculpture of curved radial growth lines with relatively strong spiral wrinkles on last whorl, umbilicus moderately wide, V-shaped; diameter 11.5mm.
