   Lectotype SAMA C2080 ♂ (lost), Sellicks Reef, Gulf St Vincent, SA.
  Paralectotype(s) SAMA C2081 1♀ ovigerous
  Comment: material referred to as paratypes (presumably from type locality, newly labelled) by Barnard, J.L. & Drummond, M.M. 1982. Gammaridean Amphipoda of Australia, Part V: Superfamily Haustorioidea. Smithson. Contrib. Zool. 360: i–iv, 1–148 and initially registered as paratypes SAMA C2104, but regarded as syntypes by Zeidler, W. 1986. Status of Australian crustacean type material described by K. Sheard 1936–39. Crustaceana 51(1): 109–111, are unjustified as paralectotypes as they were not part of the originally published type series.
