Extra Ecological Information

Adult not known to bite humans but observed feeding on frogs; type series bred from larvae taken in a pool in a patch of jungle; larvae found in transient pools, backwaters, ground water, pot holes in creeks, swamps, puddles, plant axils, pool in river tributary at edge of Pandanus [Pandanaceae] swamp and nd artificial containers; immature stages found in limestone potholes and rot hole at base of breadfruit tree; for extensive biological information see Lee et al.
