Type species:
Cypraea umbilicata Sowerby, 1825 (Cypraea umbilicata G.B. Sowerby I, 1825, is a junior homonym of C. umbilicata Dillwyn, 1823, and has been renamed Cypraea hesitata Iredale, 1916) by monotypy.
