Introduction
Shell thick, solid, flattened, with thin periostracum present in places, often with attached massive growths. Animal large, high, tuberculate all over, with short tail and deep anterior groove wherein lie the rhinophores, oral tentacles and reproductive openings. Gill fills anterior and right hand cavity between shell and foot. Compiled from Burn (in press).
