Ecological Descriptors

Larva gregarious in silken mat on floor of nesting hollow of birds in termite mound. Pupa in tough cocoon in wall of termite mound in cluster of other cocoons. Larval food: fresh faeces of nestlings of Psephotus chrysopterygius—Golden-shouldered Parrot.
