Lectotype AM KL10085 ♂, Stirling Ranges, WA (Waterhouse & Lyell in original description stated that the syntype series came from the Stirling Ranges, Yallingup, Capel River and Perth, WA).

Comment: Waterhouse & Lyell in the original description indicated that they had three males and one female.Subsequent designation references:
