BIOLOGY

Lives in chambers of an ant, Podomyrma sp., inside the stems of Canthium odoratum (see Gullan, P.J. & Stewart, A.C. 1996. A new genus and species of ant-associated coccid (Hemiptera: Coccidae: Myzolecaniinae) from Canthium Lam. (Rubiaceae). Memoirs of the Queensland Museum 39: 307–314).
