Diagnosis

Head with Y-shaped sulcus on vertex filled with squamous setae, arms of sulcus descending anterior to eyes; antennae with 8 (males) or 9-10 (females) antennomeres; maxillary palpi very small, 2 or 3 segmented. Pronotum with thin median longitudinal sulcus on disc; antebasal sulcus present, antebasal foveae obscured by squamous setae. Elytra with four basal foveae, with striae extending posteriorly from each fovea.
