Species Tetranychus gloveri Banks, 1900
Introduction
This species has been the subject of a complex series of misidentifications, as reviewed by Seeman & Beard (2011). All Australian records of Tetranychus gloveri, Septanychus tumidus, and Allonychus braziliensis before 2008, including those reviewed by Halliday (2000), are actually Oligonychus digitatus. The first confirmed record of Tetranychus gloveri in Australia dates from 2008.
