Womersley, H. 1942. New genera, species and records of Collembola from Australia, New Zealand and New Guinea. Transactions of the Royal Society of South Australia 66: 23-31 (records this species from Belgrave, VIC, but identification is probably incorrect; the specimen he refers to (Nov. 1941. OWT) was not found and specimens of Temeritas elegans (Womersley, 1933) have recently been collected from the Dandenong Ranges near Belgrave)
