Tribe TERMATOPHYLINI
Introduction
In recent phylogenetic analyses of the Deraeocorinae conducted by Kim et al. (2023), the Termatophylini nested separately to all other deraeocorine lineages analysed, instead resolving well within the other subfamilies (outgroup taxa in the analyses) of the Miridae. The current authors refrain from reclassifying the tribe as its position relative to the outgroup taxa is not yet well-established, and they have elected to retain the tribe within the Deraeocorinae pending further sampling of the Deraeocorinae and other mirid subfamilies.
