Diagnosis
Encrusting, cryptic, or more massive growth forms. Skeleton of smooth strongyles as the only megascleres forming a loosely plumose skeleton. In one species the spicule bundles are reinforced by sand grains. No ectosomal specialisation. Little spongin. Microscleres onychaetes in single or 2 size classes, with or without distinct tyles. Distribution. Victoria, Tropical W Atlantic,W Africa, and Indian Ocean. Three species.
