Ecological Descriptors

Adult: diurnal, florivore (associated flora: Eucalyptus sp. [MYRTACEAE] Gum Tree (on flowers); Leptospermum flavescens Sm. [MYRTACEAE] Tantoon (on flowers); Leptospermum sp. [MYRTACEAE] Tea-tree (on flowers); Kunzea ambigua (Sm.) Druce [MYRTACEAE] Tick Bush (on flowers); Ozothamnus ferrugineus (Labill.) Sweet [ASTERACEAE] Tree Everlasting (on flowers); Leptospermum polygalifolium Salisb. [MYRTACEAE] (on flowers)), volant.

Larva: wood-borer.

Extra Ecological Information

Williams & Williams (1983) recorded this species from Angophora hispida and Leptospermum flavescens, Cowie (2001) listed Helichrysum dendroideum.
