Adult: diurnal, florivore (associated flora: Eucalyptus foecunda Schauer, 1844 [MYRTACEAE] Fremantle Mallee, Narrow-Leaved Red Mallee (on flowers); Eucalyptus uncinata Turcz. [MYRTACEAE] Hook-leaved Mallee (on flowers)), volant.
Larva: wood-borer.

Note
This species was described by Carter at the same time as T. miranda and Carter stated that they might eventually be found to be synonymous; this synonymy is generally accepted but has not yet been published.
