Syntype(s) AM W1346 4 specimens (according to Jamieson (2000) these specimens are mixed with another five specimens, and with a label stating '5 new specimens W. Falls (assumed to be Wentworth Falls), April/90'; these cannot be type specimens; Jamieson re-examined one specimen), Mt Wilson, New South Wales [33°50'S 150°23'E].

Mt Wilson, Mt Lawson and Wentworth Falls, all in the Blue Mountains W of Sydney; and Burrawong near Moss Vale.
