Species Siteroptes avenae (Müller, 1905)

Introduction

Siteroptes avenae is a member of a group of species that transmit the silver top disease of grasses. These species have complex life cycles and have often been misidentified (Rack 1972; Suski 1973, 1984). The only species in this group recorded from Australia is S. avenae.
