Diagnosis
Setae 8 per segment. Nephridia stomate avesiculate holonephridia except in a few anterior segments which have tufted nephridia with (always?) composite ducts. Nephropores of holonephridia in a single series on each side. Unpaired annular (calciferous?) dilatations of the oesophagus in XV and XVI, XVII. Dorsal intestinal typhlosole present. Spermathecae two pairs, each with a small sessile internally multiloculate diverticulum.
