Diagnosis

Head with small vertexal foveae; cardos of labium angulate; maxillary palpi elongate, with 2 long ventrolateral spines on second and fourth segments, third segments with one similar spine, fourth segments with large ventral spine at middles and smaller spine at apices. Pronotum with faint median antebasal fovea, with single spine on anteroventral margins. Elytra short. Abdomen swollen, visible tergite 1 (IV) longest. Legs with second tarsomeres short at base, lobed beneath third tarsomeres to almost reach tarsal claws.
