Ecological Descriptors
Adult: predator, terrestrial.
Diagnosis
Length 1.4-1.6 mm. Head and pronotum densely punctate. Head lacking vertexal sulcus connecting vertexal foveae, vertex shallowly convex. Pronotum flattened medially, antebasal sulcus slightly deeper in medial portion. Elytra with discal striae originating from second basal foveae. Legs with profemora swollen, with row of pits on angled anteroventral faces; metatibiae gradually widened from base to point at about two-thirds of length. Large-eyed males with eyes formed by about 35 facets, small-eyed males with eyes formed by about 6 facets; protrochanters slightly angulate; protibiae and metatibiae with small preapical spurs; visible sternite 3 (V) with small round, shallow setose impression on each side. Females with eyes formed by about 6 facets.
