Collingwood : CSIRO Publishing Vol. 4 xiv 529 pp. & CD-ROM. [300] (Note #599. Saroba maculicosta (Walker, 1858) and S. finipalpis (Walker, 1958) were published simultaneously. Saroba maculicosta (Walker) was given priority in [1885] by Moore ([1884-1887]) as first reviser. This is different from common usage which gives S. finipalpis (Walker) priority (Poole 1989). S. finipalpis (Walker) was published on an earlier page than S. maculicosta (Walker) but Moore probably gave priority to S. maculicosta (Walker) because the description was of a male while that of S. finipalpis (Walker) was of a female. There may be an earlier first reviser than Moore ([1884-1887]))
