Diagnosis
Vertexal foveae small, often obscured by male modifications of vertex; third segments of maxillary palpi briefly pedunculate at bases, fourth segments widest at or before middles, apical halves elongate and needle-like in most species. Pronotum with antebasal foveae feebly indicated or lacking, lacking antebasal sulcus. Abdomen with visible tergite 1 (IV) longest.
