Tribe Rhyparini
Introduction
The pantropical Rhyparini include myrmecophilous, termitophilous, and saprophagous species (Rakovic 1987). Little is known, however, of the biology of the Australian species of Rhyparus Westwood, although they have been captured at light. Elsewhere the genus Rhyparus has been found to be associated with termites (Tangelder & Krikken 1982).
