Diagnosis

Trunk slender, fully segmented, lateral processes widely spaced; abdomen semi- ventral; proboscis spindle-shaped, usually down-curved, with single tiny tooth-like spike on mid-dorsum; chelifores entirely absent; palps 10-segmented; ovigers 10-segmented, with strong strigilis, rows of spatulate spines, and terminal claw which forms a subchelate structure with distal spine of 10th segment, legs like Colossendeis.
