Family RHINOCRICIDAE Brölemann, 1913
Introduction
Rhinocricids are found in the American tropics, the Indo-Australian region and the south-west Pacific (Hoffman 1982). Some 530 species have been described in nearly 30 genera (Marek, Bond & Sierwald 2003).
