Introduction
Pupoides ischnus is a sinsitral Red Centre pupillid. It can be distinguished from the sympatric P. eremicolus by its relatively smaller size and much slimmer shell.

Diagnosis
Shell very small, slender, light brown, broadly elongate-conical, sinistral; shell surface smooth with very weak growth lines; aperture ovate with a small tooth at parieto-palatal angle; lip strongly reflected; umbilicus a narrow chink; height to 4.8 mm.
