Introduction
Pupoides eremicolus is a dry interior species occurring in the Red Centre and western Queensland. It can be distinguished from the similarly sinistral and sympatric P. ischnus by its broader shell.

Diagnosis
Shell very small, light brown, broadly elongate-conical, sinistral; shell surface smooth with very weak growth lines; aperture ovate with a small tooth at parieto-palatal angle; lip strongly reflected; umbilicus a narrow chink; height to 6.5 mm.
