Introduction

Pupoides adelaidae is a chiefly southern coastal species readily distinguished from other Australian pupillids by its relatively large size.

Diagnosis

Shell very small, light brown, elongate-conical, dextral; shell surface smooth with very weak growth lines; aperture ovate with a small tooth at parieto-palatal angle; lip strongly reflected; umbilicus a narrow chink; height to 6.8 mm.
