Introduction

Pseudechotrida mikros is distinguished from both P. bordaensis and P. bouldercombe by its very small size, lack of spiral grooves, flattened shape and very wide umbilicus.

Ecological Descriptors

Forest, under litter, under logs, vine thicket.

 

Diagnosis

Shell small, yellow, subdiscoidal and somewhat nautiliform, spire flat, last whorl large and flared; protoconch shiny with weak radial ridges, teleoconch sculpture of relatively weak, branched spiral wrinkles above, shiny below; umbilicus very wide, cup-shaped; diameter 5.0mm.
