Introduction

Pseudechotrida bordaensis is distinguished by the varied sculpture of prominent spiral grooves on the early whorls and branched spiral striae on the latter whorls. Animals are pink in colour with a brown dorsal area and dark ocular tentacles.

Litter-dwelling, rainforest, under logs, vine thicket.

 

Diagnosis

Shell small, yellow, subdiscoidal and somewhat nautiliform with large flared body whorl; protoconch shiny with weak radial ridges, teloconch sculpture of strong spiral grooves initially giving way to branched spiral wrinkles above, spiral grooves below; umbilicus wide, U-shaped; diameter 7mm.
