Comment: Waterhouse & Lyell in the original description listed three males and one female.Type locality references:

Restricted to the Blue Mountains and nearby areas at altitudes of 300–1200 m, including Mt Banks, Katoomba, Blackheath, Oberon, Mittagong, Belmore Falls and Mt Kembla near Wollongong, specimens from Mt Canobolas are tentatively included here.
