Proceedings of the Royal Society of Victoria ns 33: 87-107 (The type locality was given as 'Port Darwin(?)' by Ashton (1912), but in later publications (Ashton 1914, 1921) he considers it more likely that the type specimens were taken at Kuranda. As the species is confined to northeastern Queensland, Kuranda should be regarded as the type locality).
