Introduction
Prolesophanta is readily distinguished from other eastern Australian rhytidids by its very small shell and lthe ack of an umbilicus.

Diagnosis
Shell minute, discoidal, last whorl large and flared; protoconch shiny and smooth, teleoconch sculptured with low, broad radial ridges; umbilicus absent. Colour pale and glassy with dark reddish-brown radial streaks.
