Lectotype MNHP 693, 694, Port Macquarie, ?New South Wales; locality was considered to be in Pennsylvania, USA, by Perrier, but additional specimens from close to Port Macquarie in New South Wales demonstrate an Australian origin for this species [31°27'S 152°55'E].
