Introduction

‘‘Bagnalliella’’ nigricoxae Girault, (1929: 1) was excluded from the Australian fauna by Mound & Minaei (2007: 2932). Mound et al. (2013) provide a key to genera and record several genera from Australia for the first time. In a paper on morphology and significance of convoluted stylets in, mostly, thrips species on Casuarinaceae, Mound et al. (2022) revised this curious set of thrips, describing 12 new species.
