Ecological Descriptors
Adults and juveniles: sanguinivore, terrestrial.
Diagnosis
Posterior sucker with 58-60 rays, first pair of nephridiopores on VI a1 between eye pairs 3 and 4, four dark brown longitudinal stripes on dorsum, continuous light contrast stripes next to medial stripes, irregular light paramedial contrast stripes, female gonopore located in XII b5 or b5/b6, Lambertian organs longer than half the length of the duct, jaws with numerous teeth along the entire length of the jaw, somite XXIII three annulate, four annuli per mid-body somite.
