Holotype (6156-6860 m depth), Kurile-Kamchatka Trench.

Extra Distribution Information
Widespread at high latitudes in the NW and SW Pacific, NE, SE and southern Atlantic, and the sub-Antarctic Indian Ocean; Australian distribution — Great Australian Bight, off SA (340 m depth).
