Naturgeschichte der Insekten Deutschlands. Erste Abteilung. Coleoptera. Berlin : Nicholaischen Vol. 3 968 pp., the first reviser, and is thus the correct original spelling].
Type species:
Phaenognatha erichsoni Hope, 1842 by monotypy.
