Lectotype ANIC 25 061909 ♀ (Sloane coll.), Kuranda, Queensland.
Paralectotype(s) ANIC ♀ (partly destroyed), same locality data as lectotype
Comment: This species was originally described as a "variation" of Perigona rufilabris and was synonymised by all later authors with that species. Baehr (2013) raised this species to specific status.
