Proceedings of the Zoological Society of London 1865(3): 755–823 [issued 1866, dated 1865] [791], first mentioned in Moore, F. in Horsfield, T. & Moore, F. 1858. A Catalogue of the Lepidopterous Insects in the Museum of the Hon. East-India Company. London : Wm. H. Allen and Co. Vol. 1 v 278 iv 11 pp. 18 pls [issued 1858, dated 1857] (255) but this is a nom. nud. (Art. 12(a) ICZN, 1985)].
Type data: lectotype BMNH *; Moore in the original description did not indicate the number of specimens described.
