Type data:
Holotype AM C.105728 dry; 8.00 mm high, 18.05 mm long and 15.93 mm wide specimen, facing Island, Port Curtis, Gladstone, Queensland; living on rocks between tide marks in the Ostrea (= Saccostrea) cucculata (Born) association and above [23°49'1.2"S, 151°22'1.2"E]
