Endoparasitic (host(s): Pastinchus sephen (Forsskål, 1775) [DASYATIDAE]; Himantura toshi Whitley, 1939 [DASYATIDAE]; Himantura jenkinsii (Annandale, 1909) [DASYATIDAE]; Himantura undulata (Bleeker, 1852) [DASYATIDAE]; Rhynchobatus sp. [RHYNCHOBATIDAE] Wedgefish (host originally recorded as Rhynchobatus djiddensis Forsskål, 1775, but this name now applies to a species found only in the Western Indian Ocean; re-examination of host material is needed to determine its new name; definitive host)).
